Katie Gumm-Arnold
Head Cheerleading Coach


This is Coach Arnold’s 10th year as Head Cheerleading Coach at Alpharetta High School. Coach Arnold grew up in Alpharetta and graduated from Chattahoochee High School! Coach Arnold is a graduate of the University of Georgia where she earned a degree in Economics and a Masters in Secondary Education. She currently teaches social studies. Coach Arnold enjoys spending time with friends and family and her and her husband have a three year old who keeps them busy! She is looking forward to a very successful year as head coach and is very excited to be involved with the AHS Cheerleading Program. Go Raiders!


Colleen Greathouse
Varsity Competition Coach


Coach Colleen cheered for 4 years at Alpharetta High School. After she graduated from GCSU, she returned to Alpharetta to teach 5th grade at Dolvin Elementary School. Colleen began coaching the AHS competition cheerleading team in 2015 and helped lead them to place in the top ten at the State GHSA competition! She is very excited for another successful season!!

Ana Nieves
Junior Varsity Coach


This is Coach Nieves’s first year as JV Cheerleading Coach and teacher at Alpharetta High School. Coach Nieves is originally from Ann Arbor, Michigan but grew up here in the Alpharetta/Johns Creek area and graduated from Chattahoochee High School. She was a competitive dancer with Roswell City Dance Company for 7 years, and after high school, she choreographed the Chattahoochee High School musicals for three years. Coach Nieves graduated with an English degree from Georgia State University where she also earned a Masters in the Art of Teaching English. She currently teaches 10th grade literature, AP language and composition at Alpharetta and is the sponsor of the AHS newspaper, The Hook, and co-sponsor of AHS Student Council. She looks forward to an exciting season with the AHS Cheerleading Program. GO RAIDERS!

Addie Cooper
Freshman Coach


This is Coach Cooper’s first year as Freshman Cheerleading Coach and third year teaching at Alpharetta High School. Coach Cooper grew up in Decatur, AL. and moved to the Atlanta area in 2012. She graduated from Auburn University with a degree in Human Development and a Masters in Special Education. Coach Cooper currently teaches Special Education in the Community Based Instruction program at Alpharetta. In her free time Coach Cooper enjoys spending time with her husband and going to Auburn games. She looks forward to a great football season and is excited to be a part of the AHS Raiders!
