Whitney Decaminada-Head Football Cheerleading Coach
Whitney Decaminada is the Testing Coordinator at Alpharetta High School. Originally from Michigan, Whitney moved to Georgia for a math teaching position at Alpharetta High School in 2011. In the past, she has coached JV competition, JV sideline, and Varsity sideline at the beginning of her career as a Raider. Whitney is also a Link Crew coordinator, Prom coordinator, and 504 coordinator at AHS. When she’s not working, she enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, visiting the North GA mountains and relaxing on a boat! Whitney is excited to be part of the Cheerleading program again! Go Raiders!!
Jennifer Van Paepeghem-Assistant Varsity Football Cheerleading Coach
Jennifer was part of the AHS Cheerleading staff from 2011-2014 and coached both on sideline squads and the Varsity Competition squad. She returns to Alpharetta this year as a community coach.Jennifer was a teacher in Fulton before moving on to work as an education consultant for ST Math. She now works part-time for the company, but missed working with youth and is back as the JV sideline coach this year. Jennifer cheered Varsity sideline and Varsity competition at Austin High School in Texas. She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin and is an avid Longhorn fan. Jennifer is married to Ryan and they have two daughters, Austin (3) and Shannon (1). She is very excited to be back in action with AHS. GO RAIDERS!
Donna Mohrig-JV Football Cheerleading Coach
Donna Mohrig has been working in Fulton County schools for over 20 years, 9 of which have been at AHS. She is currently the Attendance Clerk, and has held numerous jobs at AHS over the years. Originally from northern Virginia, Donna has worked for IBM and on Capitol Hill before becoming a mother and moving to Georgia from Michigan 25 years ago. She graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a Business Administration degree and was on their women’s varsity field hockey team for 3 years. She is married with 3 children and is an original AHS parent as her oldest daughter started her sophomore year in 2004, the year AHS opened. All her children have graduated from Alpharetta and since then, Donna has remained active and supportive at the school managing football and basketball concessions stands, co-chairing the wellness program for staff, and now coaching the JV football cheerleaders. She is excited for the football season and looks forward to seeing all the students back in school, some day!
Tiffany Michalec-Competition Coach
Tiffany Michalec is an IRR Social Studies teacher at Alpharetta High School. This is Tiffany’s first year as a Raider. She moved from Long Island about a year ago, where she worked as a Service Coordinator for the NYS Early Intervention Program. Tiffany was a Varsity Sideline and Competition cheerleader for her hometown team. She also cheered in college for both Southern Connecticut State University and SUNY Cortland. Tiffany has gained some experience as a Level 3 and Level 4 assistant gymnastics coach. She is excited to be coaching AHS Competition Cheerleading!
